Take The Pledge To Support Costa Mesa Workers!
Posted on 15. Apr, 2011 by admin in Uncategorized
When the Republicans on the Costa Mesa City Council voted to outsource nearly half of their staff, they were beginning the California Republican Party’s well-funded and well-organized attack on workers and the Democratic Party.
Their attack is not about costs – it’s never been about costs. It’s all about politics. It’s about crippling unions so they no longer have the means to help Democratic candidates in the next election cycle.
We are ready to fight back before it’s too late. Please join us!

Do you enjoy weekends off work? How bout overtime pay after 40 hours, or the fact that there’s a minimum wage for struggling students? All of these things are thanks to the labor movement… but they are all under attack in Orange County. Thats why i signed this petition, to protect workers rights! #CostaMesa

You said it right. This is not about money, this is about politics. This is not the way to solve our budget crisis, rather this will only widen the ever increasing gap between the rich and poor.

We need to stop the attack on workers in Orange County before it spreads across this state….those on the Costa Mesa City Council who approved this should be disgusted with themselves.
