As the official voice for young people in the Democratic Party of Orange County, OCYD is a network of Young Democrat activists around the county that are helping to provide a Democratic presence around orange County and around the college and high school campuses.

We take action in our communities for local, statewide, and national campaigns to build the Democratic Party. We know despite the “common sense” of the media, young people can and do make the difference in politics—and 2008 proved it!

Young people aren’t just voting in record number, they’re voting overwhelmingly for Democratic candidates.

Meetings

OCYD meets at Bistro 400 on the second Thursday of every month at 7:00 PM. Come join us at our next meeting on Thursday, August, 13, 2009.
